Jennifer Merryman has been serving as CEO for Children in Christ® (CIC) since 2012. Having moved to Tanzania in 2011, Jen first learned about CIC – a powerful movement of God focused on reaching, discipling, equipping, and empowering children in His love and truth. Over the past two decades, CIC has reached more than a million children with weekly discipleship across the continent of Africa, through tens of thousands of inspired, equipped, and empowered indigenous lay ministry volunteers.
Jen has had 35+ years of for-profit and non-profit combined experience. For ten years she held brand and category management leadership roles in Fortune 50 companies, until she felt deeply called to leave the business world behind and focus on the spiritual value, nurture, and development of children and youth. For her, joining CIC is a personal surprise that the Lord had planned her whole life – surpassing her wildest dreams. Sharing the love and truth of Jesus with a continent of children is an unspeakable privilege and joy.
